New “Made for More” podcast launched

Aug 6, 2025

We’re excited to share the launch of the Made for More podcast, a new monthly series that highlights the people and stories that make Adventist Health and Rideout exceptional. In Episode 1, hospital President Chris Champlin shares his personal journey, from a childhood dream of curing color-blindness to his career in public health and his mission to make Rideout the best community hospital in the nation.

Episode 2 tells the moving story of Sharon Floe, a longtime local resident who came to the Emergency Department showing signs of a stroke. Listen to her story here as she and Dr. Andrew Bellino, Emergency Department Medical Director, reflect on the physical and spiritual care she received. We are grateful to Sharon and her husband, John, for their willingness to share and their generosity as participants in our Grateful Journeys program.

If you’ve ever wanted to honor a care provider who made a difference in your life, we invite you to participate in our Grateful Journeys program.
