Karen Schoenig: Celebrating 45 Years of Service

Nurses provide transformative care to their patients. With a focus on providing the safest possible care and treating patients like their own family members, they strive to change lives for the better every day.  

Karen Schoenig is a wonderful example of a nurse’s joy for helping people and providing healing to patients in our Cancer Care Center. Her career at Adventist Health and Rideout spanned more than 45 years, and her legacy of healing will continue well into the future through all the nurses she has helped train.
