Join our movement to honor local charitable organizations who support Yuba-Sutter service members, veterans and first responders!

In 2025, Yuba City Mayor and local business owners, Dave and Susan Shaw, commissioned this phenomenal painting by performance painter David Garibaldi, celebrating the bravery, dedication, and commitment of our local military and first responders. To make this painting accessible to the community, it is now showcased in the lobby of Adventist Health and Rideout in Marysville, California.

Together, we hope this work – and the military service people, peace officers, firefighters, and medical personnel who have dedicated their lives to providing for the well-being of this community – inspires community generosity.

“The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.”

– Mahatma Gandhi

We partner with donors to bring innovative technology, compassionate patient care, and expand the number of trained medical professionals dedicated to this region. Every dollar stays in Yuba-Sutter, transforming lives today and shaping a healthier tomorrow.

The Magic Behind the Masterpiece: Performance Painter David Garibaldi

Oh, what a night! Can you believe this masterpiece was created in less than 10 minutes?

On August 21, 2025, performance painter David Garibaldi created this tribute to our local military and first responders.

Growing up in Sacramento, California, Garibaldi created from a young age in various forms. From playing the trumpet, graffiti, animation, and even dance, each would later play a role in kicking off his art career.

Garibaldi set out to put performance painting on the map. He was also determined to keep leveling up and setting a personal challenge to raise $1 million for charity through his art by age 30, which he did.

Garibaldi has grown his online presence with now millions of followers and has continued doing live shows on tour. He believes, "Art is not just about the final product — it's about the journey, the energy, and the connection we create with each other. Every performance is an opportunity to inspire, to give back, and to show that creativity knows no boundaries."
