Geweke Foundation funds new women’s imaging technology

We are so grateful to the Geweke Caring for Women Foundation for their continued partnership and generosity. Thanks to their latest gift, Adventist Health Rideout Foundation will soon bring two cutting-edge technologies to the Women’s Imaging Center on Shasta Street.
First, the Brevera® Breast Biopsy System with Corlumina™ Imaging Technology will streamline the biopsy process by combining tissue acquisition, imaging, and handling — reducing procedure time and improving patient comfort. Second, Genius AI® Detection Pro software will upgrade our mammography machines with artificial intelligence that enhances image clarity and detection accuracy. This not only improves diagnostic capabilities but also reduces eye strain for our radiologists.
AI is transforming many industries, and this is a powerful example of how it’s enhancing health care — right here in Yuba-Sutter. To support their efforts, consider joining the Pink October Walk-Run on October 4, where Rideout’s Cancer Care Center and Women’s Imaging will be present to share information and resources. Thank you to the Geweke Caring for Women Foundation board for partnering with Adventist Health Rideout Foundation to ensure the women of this community have access to the best possible early detection resources without having to travel outside their community!
